Refurbished GP Surgery in Hammersmith.
This project saw us complete full repairs, painting & decorating of the interior and exteriors of an award-winning building created by architect Guy Greenfield, home to Hammersmith Bridge Doctors Surgery in December 2017 & January 2018.

Introduction
This impressive building was built in 2000 on the site of a disused car park, the white creation by Greenfield had to overcome challenges such as the noisy flyover. The building was featured by the BBC for its stunning design.
The work was all carried out over the holiday period to ensure continued smooth running of the Surgery and relevant consultation rooms were left clear and clean whilst the surgery was open.
What our Hammersmith client wanted
The building needed a fresh coat of paint inside and out, the surgery would need to remain open to its patients, so it was vital we co-ordinated work with them efficiently to ensure less disruption and discomfort for the staff and patients.
We would need to first make any repairs and prepare the walls, ceilings and exteriors before painting could be begun.

How we helped the client with their refurbishment
We helped The Surgery in Hammersmith to complete their project, by working around their busy schedule to avoid disruption to the patients and staff as much as possible.
All work was carried out over the holiday period to ensure continued smooth running of the Surgery, to complete the external preparation and painting we overcame the challenges of access for the cherry picker in tight spaces to complete the work.
We worked with the client to co-ordinate a schedule of rotating the consultation rooms to ensure during open ours the GP and nursing staff could continue with their appointments.
The work was started in December 2017 and completed by early January 2018 on time, on budget and with happy clients for the finished job.
Our project manager stayed in communication with the client and surgery staff, to ensure smooth running and over come any issues that may have arisen during the process.

What we created for our client
As the building is a working Doctor’s surgery the property as a whole was still in good condition, other than needing a refresher, this made the project simpler but still required the same amount of attention by our painter and decorators, and our same high standards.
We worked around the operating hours and schedule of the staff, working during the off-peak hours and Christmas period to make use of any closed days or quieter sessions, this allowed not only the GP’s and nurses to complete their consultations in peace – but also allowed our teams to work fast but efficiently without disturbing anybody.
The building had a lot of rooms, hallways and waiting room areas that needed our attention, with the unique architectural design our team had to ensure to take extra care.
The finished project was a crisp clean look inside and out, on an already impressive building – regaining its usual glory and outstanding look, making it as fresh as when it was built in the early 2000’s.
