HOUZZ REVIEW
—— REDBOX LONDON
Our client in Teddington, was already working with an award winning kitchen designer, Richard McGee from Holloways of Ludlow on their new family kitchen, who recommended Red Box to complete the renovations.
The client wanted a full renovation of the ground floor areas, including a new kitchen, new underfloor heating, new dining room, boot room area and all new windows, doors and a landscaped garden ready for summer entertaining.
We started the process, as with all our projects, with a site visit prior to our detailed quotation and estimate provided to the client. Once work was approved and agreed, we started working on the renovations plans with their kitchen designer and provided our recommendations for the garden landscaping work and suggestions for suppliers to use for the windows, decorating and other elements.
Once all the products and suppliers were organised, our project manager co-ordinated with both suppliers, designer and client to ensure smooth and clear running of the renovation, to avoid disruption to the family.
We worked with some great suppliers, including Holloways of Ludlow (kitchen), Hue Stevenson of Shoots and Leaves (Patio and garden design) and Hugo Carter Silent Windows for the new external doors and windows in the kitchen – to name just a few.
Red Box fully project managed the work after having been introduced by Roundhouse. Using high quality products and paints we completed the project in the summer of 2023 while the family was mostly away abroad for the duration.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. With the family home having young children they would need a working kitchen during the renovation process to ensure smooth running of the family home.
To help with this we created a temporary kitchen space in one of the spare rooms so that the family and their nanny could still prepare and cook meals during the building and renovation work.
We then followed the plans with our teams and project manager to install the new kitchen and all the elements of the new ground floor of this large family home.
The project began work in February, with us successfully completing the work by June in time for the family to enjoy their new kitchen, dining room and garden throughout the summer.

The finished project saw a new garden, kitchen, dining and boot area completed for this busy family giving their large house a new home feel ready for summer a entertaining.
We installed underflooring heating throughout the ground floor of the house which has the ability to be controlled for each room individually, this can help avoid energy waste and excess energy bills when not needed.
The new kitchen boasted modern technology, including new Quooker hot water tap and electrical sockets and switches from Forbes & Lomax for a modern look and feel.
New internal sliding doors were created for the dining room giving the room a bigger effect, the sliding doors were made by Howdens Joinery – with Eclisse Pocket Door Kits.
Our client very happy with the new family home and the service provided by our project manager and team during the entire process.
